Over the years, as I have worked with you and other friends of Project Hospitality, 1 have felt overwhelmed not by the size of the tasks confronting us but overwhelmed with gratitude for the goodness and generosity of people such as yourself.

“Being afraid of going to the dentist as I am, nothing personal Dr. Hecht, I do have to say that I had a quite uneventful experience. This is a wonderful thing for me. I was surrounded by caring and compassionate people who made me feel safe. I listened to enjoyable music and was not made to feel uncomfortable about my fears. I had absolutely no pain (not even when the needle went into my gum) and the drilling was over before I knew it. I was one happy camper when it was all over. I have told all my friends and family about my experience and they were amazed by my positive outlook.

“I don’t know how to begin to tell you how wonderful my latest experience with you and everyone in your office has been.

“As you all know, I am one of the most apprehensive patients you have and because of that, have gone for many years coming in to see you only when it was a dire emergency and I was in so much pain that I had to put aside all my fears. Of course I never sat in your chair without intravenous sedation. But you made me feel so comfortable on one recent visit that I actually had two procedures done without any intravenous sedation which would never have happened had it not been you doing it.

“This last procedure, which started in January 2011, turned out to be a very large one. What would have been a very traumatic experience turned out to be anything but that. I was treated with a sense of compassion and caring by Meghan, Arielle and Angela throughout these visits. They knew my fears and alleviated them. I also love seeing Zel who I’ve known for years and Rosemary who worked with me throughout my visits in helping with billing and appointments and again showing to me a sense of compassion I know I would never find anywhere else. I also had my first hygiene visits (awake) with Gari who is wonderful and who made my experience pain free and pleasant.
